Jeremy: I cut back on comics, too, ullsuay buying GN collections. But I realized it had more to do with the fact that I just don't want to store floppies.I don't cringe spending $3 for a comic, I cringe spending $30 for a trade, especially if I read it and don't like it!So I am apt to buy a comic and try it out. I may buy several issues. Since I don't live near a comic shop, I can't keep up with the latest stuff. After I sample a comic, I wait a few months and get the trade.Allan, if you had the money to invest, I would be a happy woman.It would take me at least one year of full time work to finish it off. Probably 1 1/2 years. That means I have to have 1 1/2 years income. The book will earn it back, but it will take time. It's a real, er, Catch-22 again.I was doing pretty well saving for it a couple of years back, but after some personal problems, combined with the tanking economy, Oh well, there went a big chunk of my dough!Dead annoying, really.Can't complain too much, I have food to eat and a nice home to live in, but I confess to being deeply frustrated.I might have considered taking the risk and financing on credit, but that is no way to go now. I know I am not the only person to wake up one day and find my CC rates jacked to sky high! I can't even remember the last time I paid a bill late! I did nothing to deserve it!

Soooo intersting, your diisscsuon about needing and wanting and wearing. I'm at that point right now where I'm actually trying to wear EVERYTHING in my closet and to make sure that I rotate lots of stuff and not keep the good stuff only for fancy occasions. And as funny as it sounds, I haven't bought any Isabel Fall clothes yet either but I got the Berry boots (western cone heel with blue stitching) and I have been enjoying them sooooooo much that I need to resole them, already. Have a super fabbb weekend babe! YAhoooooo!! And that sweater u got -I think I'm going to get it in raspberry just obsessed with the fit and the look of it!
